You check every entry before it saves, and every field can be fixed with a tap. Your voice is never uploaded — it stays on your phone.

PennyTalk Pro is a single one-time purchase — no subscription and no trial — that adds monthly budgets with calm alerts, advanced insights, PDF reports, and the weekly family email report. No. Existing purchases carry over automatically. If Pro doesn’t show up, open Settings → Account → Restore Purchase. Your unlock is tied to your Apple ID.

Voice recognition and expense tracking work completely offline, right on your device. An internet connection is only used to back up and sync your data through your own private iCloud (if you have iCloud turned on), and for a few anonymous app-usage counts. You can use the app fully without a connection.

Yes. Say “Hey Siri, log an expense in PennyTalk” and the app opens already listening.

Currently, PennyTalk recognises English speech only. We’re working on adding more languages in future updates.

Yes — free, for everyone. Export everything to a CSV spreadsheet from Settings → Your Data. It’s perfect for keeping a backup or moving to a new device, and you can import a CSV back in too.

Yes. Your transactions stay on your device and in your own private iCloud — never on our servers. There are no bank logins and no accounts. Your voice never leaves your phone. The only thing we collect is a small number of anonymous app-usage events (which features are used, whether an entry parsed) — never your financial data, your transactions, or your voice.
