- Offline Capable: The app works fully offline with sync when you choose to enable it.
Data Collection
Minimal Data Collection. Mood Dots only collects and stores the data you explicitly enter:
- Mood entries (with time and selected colour/emotion)
- Optional short notes you attach to entries
- App settings and preferences you configure
- Notification preferences if you enable them
We do NOT collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Usage analytics or app behavior data
- Device identifiers or location data
- Any data outside of what you enter in the app
Your Data, Your Control
You maintain complete control over your mood data:
- Delete all data by deleting the app from your device
- No one else has access to your moods or notes
Third-Party Services
Mood Dots does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks beyond Apple's optional iCloud service for data synchronization. The app is designed to be self-contained and operates independently.
Notifications
Mood Dots includes optional gentle reminders to help you build a logging routine. These notifications are generated locally on your device and do not involve any external services. You can disable notifications at any time through the app settings or iOS settings.
